Randy and Scott work closely with Rick Hartman, Roel Villanueva, Shaun Daniels, and Kenny Smith, to provide concurrent fly fishing and light tackle charters to multiple parties staying at Kingfisher Inn, or in the surrounding vicinity.
Choose from all-day, or extended half day trips. All trips originate in Arroyo City at Kingfisher Inn, located approximately one mile west of the entrance to the Adolph Thomae County Park. Your spouse and children will be pleased to know that Kingfisher Inn offers visiting guests some of the finest waterfront accommodations in the area.

Centrally located in the lower Laguna Madre, the Arroyo Colorado is widely considered the best access to vast, unpressured flats of the lower Laguna Madre. Even though Arroyo City is a dedicated fishing community rather than a beach resort, it is much closer to a wide array of fishable and clear shallow waters. Thus, clients leaving from Kingfisher Inn can expect to spend more time actually fishing, and less time boating through deeper, rougher waters on the way to the hot spots.
"The big trout hit my deer-hair topwater fly four times as I stripped it in. Finally, I dropped to my knees, so I'd have a chance to cast to it again. I stood up slowly, and began making short casts all around, trying to find the big fish. Finally it hit explosively, and I fought it for 10 minutes before I dragged it onto the sand bank. It was 28 inches and beautiful. It may sound weird, but I almost felt like crying.
